November 28 1936 - Notable Passengers

The EMPRESS OF ASIA began a Pacific crossing upon sailing from Vancouver on November 28th, 1936.

The sailing was delayed a day at Vancouver because of dense fog that blanketed the Pacific Coast.

Among the passengers was a travel group, led by J. Shannon White, on a world tour...This party boarded the ship at Victoria.
