December 1 1928 - Notable Passengers

The EMPRESS OF ASIA, commanded by A. J. Hailey, began a Pacific crossing upon sailing from Vancouver on December 1st, 1928.  The ship carried 60 First Class passengers, 60 Second Class, 40 Third Class, and 500 Steerage.

On this voyage the ship was docked at Hong Kong for overhaul.
