September 11 1937 - Notable Passengers

The EMPRESS OF ASIA concluded a Pacific crossing upon reaching Vancouver on Sept 11th, 1937.  During this voyage the EMPRESS OF ASIA was involved in the evacuation of refugees from Shanghai.

On the voyage the ship experienced good weather and carried passengers, cargo and mail.
