October 7 1935 - Notable Passengers

The EMPRESS OF ASIA, under the command of Captain A. V. R. Lovegrove, concluded a Pacific crossing upon reaching Vancouver on October 7th, 1935.  On the voyage the ship encountered heavy fog off the mouth of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.  The ship is described as bringing in a light list of passengers, heavy mails and a fair cargo.
