March 27 1937 - Notable Passengers

The EMPRESS OF ASIA, commanded by G. Goold, concluded a Pacific crossing upon reaching Vancouver on March 27th, 1937. On the voyage the ship experienced stormy weather west of the Meridian that delayed arrival to Victoria be several hours.  On the crossing the ship carried passengers, cargo mail.
